August League Challenge
There were 15 Masters, 2 Seniors, and 1 Junior for a total of 18 players! Dragapult continues to be the most popular archetype at BPL, representing the only archetype with more than two pilots. Zack E. (3-1) brought Blissey again and performed well, but just barely missed Top 4 due to breakers. Several newcomers to the League debuted to success, especially Aaron Y. (3-1) and Callahan F. (3-1) both with Top 4 placements. Avery (3-1) and brooke (4-0) showed down in Round 4 as the two remaining undefeated players, and while an extremely competitive match, brooke managed to navigate hand disruption and Team Rocket’s Watchtower to close out the game, securing the League’s first placement with Ethan’s Typhlosion.
