November Challenge
November’s League Challenge was our smallest Standard event in awhile (was it the timing or the weather?) but we still had 9 Masters and 1 Junior in attendance, as well as some folks for open play. A special welcome to TzuYi for playing in his first event with us!
Only two archetypes saw multiple players, the Flareon-centric Eevee Toolbox and Raging Bolt ex. Both Flareon ex decks (piloted by Ross and Bloom) were styled after the Emma Hagen list, a bird-heavy package that includes Pidgeot ex, but cuts Sylveon ex and Lillie’s Clefairy ex. Avery brought Mega Venusaur for our last MEG-format event, but unfortunately paired into every Fire deck in the room! And our winner, brooke, overcame two Lillie’s Clefairy ex decks in Swiss to take the win with Dragapult ex!
